This was a powerful and very thought-provoking interview. You will be looking at success in a whole new light after listening.
Taylor is the founder of Change Heroes – a social enterprise that has funded over 60 schoolhouses and libraries in 9 countries all over the world. He gave a keynote address at Harvard’s Social Enterprise Conference, has a well known TEDx talk called “How to build a school in 3 hours”, which is how I first found about Taylor and it is so powerful… and I actually reached out to him from seeing that video because I knew this was something I totally wanted to be a part of!!!! You will have to check it out after this interview is done!
He also recently addressed delegates from around the globe at the United Nations in New York. He talked about how his obsession with human behaviour has resulted in Change Heroes impacting 60,000 children in developing countries, and how he plans to impact 1 million more by the end of 2014.
Taylor shared so many tidbits of wisdom that I am sure you are going to want to listen to this interview over and over.
When we talked about some of the amazing accomplishments he has attained including reaching millionaire status he said, what matters is the moments in between those big events, that is the moments of time I want to focus on being happy. The 99.99% of the time is the small daily moments.
He turns the traditional thinking about achieving and success, or a mentality for more into the philosophy of enough and urges us all to stop striving.
